You know by now my name is Sophie. I don't like introductions or goodbyes. My favorite band is Nirvana, and I still like Robert Plant. Most people find me weird, because I am even weirder now. I still like rainbows, sunshine and world peace. I am also very scatterbrained.
P. S. This was my blog for Literature class.

The Day Before Summer
2 and a half hours to summer, 2 and a half hours to freedom, 2 and a half hours to no plans and no schedules. It is funny how awesome summer seems when it is just a thought compared to actually living it. I have watched my summer's come and go, just blurs in the past. I have very few things planned for the summer, and they all seem to fall on the someday. In past summers I have had a billion trillion things I want to do, but this time I don't even have 5. I want to go to the Bunburry festival, the Forecastle festival, North Carolina, and the beach.

Chicago
Over the summer I am going to Chicago for a couple of days with my dad to see a concert. I have only seen two other concerts before and (sadly) they were Camp Rock and One Direction. I am seeing J Mascis in a place that only holds 375 people. The One direction concert had over 10,000 people there. J Mascis is the former lead singer of Dinosaur Jr., an alternative band from the 80s. I have really gotten into alternative and grunge rock over the past few months. I am super excited for my Chicago trip, it will be the fourth time I have been there.

The Faces
I looked around the room,
and I saw their future,
In every one of them.
There were a few high school dropouts
All had hard lives ahead of them
But right now they were children.
Anything could happen
But nothing would.

I Hate Sheep
They entered the creepy fairgrounds. Olivia strode ahead, she had been here many times before. "Come on, I need to check on Bailey." Bailey was one of Olivia's 3 sheep she had entered in this years 4-H fair.
"I don't, I don't think we should be hear." quivered Mel, she hadn't been in to the idea when Olivia suggested coming. The three of them, Olivia, Mel, and Catherine, had all been spending the night at Olivia's when she remembered she forgot to give Bailey her medicine. Olivia's parents owned a small farm, and she always entered animals in the 4-H fair. They lived close to the fairgrounds, definitely within walking distance. However, walking when it is light out and the cars can see you, but Olivia insisted.
"Come on, this place is cool!" said Catherine. The Barns were in the back of by the field where everybody parked. They had to walk through the rides to get there, a eerie tilt-a-whirl was on there left and the spiny ride where a kid had puked earlier to day was on their right.
"We would get there faster if you would hurry up." complained Olivia.
"I'm coming."Mel seemed to be loosening up.
"Is that a car back there?" asked Catherine.
"Yeah, somebody probably just went home with someone. It happens all the time. They'll be back to pick it up tomorrow." explained Olivia. Her dad was on the Board for the fair, so she knew her way around.
They reached the barn and Olivia gave Bailey her medicine. "Do you guys want to go to the fun house?" asked Olivia as she patted Bailey goodbye.
"Can we even get in?" asked Catherine.
"Yeah," It doesn't even have a door.
"I don't think that is a good idea." cautioned Mel.
"Whatever," Olivia switched off the lights and the left the barn.
They were walking back when Mel pulled out her phone. "1:56" Olivia grabbed the phone out of Mel's hand and through it through the circular hole in the fun house that was used for a entrance.
I feel it is necessary to mention at this point in the story that Olivia and Mel are cousins. So, you aren't wondering what person grabs a phone out of her best friends hand and chucks it in to a creepy fun house.
"Olivia!" yelled Mel, "Go get my phone!"
"Why don't you go get it?" asked Olivia.
"You threw it!" remarked Mel.
"We will all go get it." commanded Catherine the peace maker of the group. They turned to walk up the creaky metal steps. The girls stepped into the circular entrance that usually spun at a sadly slow speed. Mel grabbed her phone off the floor.
"Come on, let's get out of here." The girls turned to go, but suddenly the entrance started to spin faster than it ever had. There was no way they could get out that way.
What's going on?" screamed Catherine over the noise of the spinning mechanism.
"I don't know!" yelled Mel.
"Let's get to the exit!" a look of pure terror appeared on Olivia's face. The ran as fast as the could through the empty fun house. The boards the once bobbed lightly as children giggled across thrashed as they ran. As they tore past the clown mirrors that were designed to morph your reflection Mel stopped.
"Come on we got to get out of here!" screamed Olivia!
"Who's that in the mirror?" quivered Mel. Olivia grabbed her by the wrist to pull her away, but she saw it to. A girl no more than fourteen, skin pure white, standing in the mirror. She wore a tattered old dress. Catherine came to Mel, and Olivia's side.
"I only wanted a friend." said the girl in the mirror. Then the room stopped, the entrance stopped spinning, the boards stopped bouncing, the whole world stopped because the girls were dead.
